Bread for the World is a globally active development and relief agency of the Protestant Churches in Germany. The organization works in more than 90 countries across the globe empowering poor and marginalized communities. Its key focus areas include food security, promotion of health and education, access to water, strengthening of democracy, respecting human rights, keeping peace and the integrity of creation. Bread for the World has being supporting KESSFF under the project title “Enhancing SSFs institutional capacity to participate and monitor the  implementation of the AU Malabo Declaration Goals

The movement, which started in 2002, is a small-scale farmer initiated, farmer led and farmer owned. The Purpose of ESAFF is to enable small farmers in Eastern and Southern Africa to speak as a united voice so that their issues, concerns and recommendations become an integral part of policies and practices at grassroots levels, national levels as well as at regional and global levels


CUTS Nairobi is a resource Centre for research analysis, advocacy, networking and capacity building activities by CUTS International with a vision of consumer sovereignty in the framework of social justice, economic equality and environmental balance, within and across borders. Throughout KESSFF’s journey, Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS Nairobi) has been at the forefront of supporting KESSFF institutional development. CUTS Nairobi is currently hosting the KESSFF secretariat at its Head Office in Nairobi.
